Why name and shame HCPs?
On this blog I am attempting to publish a comprehensive list (see alphabetical list below to search for your HCP) of HCPs (Health Care Practitioners) that work for Atos, Capita, and any future companies the government gives a contract to, in relation to ESA (Employment and Support Allowance) WCAs (Work Capability Assessment) and PIP (Personal Independence Payment) assessments. I am doing this because these HCPs are finding people fit for work when they clearly are not, and producing WCA reports that are often not fit for purpose, contain lies, omit details, or are just plain bad. These ‘medical professionals’ are ruining the lives of extremely vulnerable people with impunity – and this must stop.
Unfortunately for the public, the GMC and NMC, appear to be failing to act on our complaints (based on my own experience). By naming and shaming the worst offenders, I hope to force the GMC and NMC to act, instead of turning a blind eye, as they do now.
Please use the contact form to send the details of the HCP that dealt with your assessment if: the assessment was not carried out correctly, the HCP’s report was not fit for purpose, the decision was later overturned in your favour on reconsideration or appeal, your appeal/reconsideration is ongoing now, etc. – even if they are already on the list. This is because I want to get statistics for the number of complaints made against each of the HCPs on the list.
